[AHEC2009] Guidelines for Preparing an Extended Abstract and a Full Manuscript Scope of the conference The 10th Asian Hydrogen Energy Conference will provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of the hydrogen energy related topics in Asian countries. This is the overall publication schedule for the conference. All the extended abstracts and full manuscripts will be published in the conference proceedings. The abstract and the manuscript should be prepared in MS word formats in English as an official language of the conference. The extended abstract or full manuscript submission should be made by e-mail attachments to h2energy@skku.edu, by Feb 20, 2009. Only the full manuscripts submitted to the proceedings will be considered for publication of a Special Issue of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. Authors of the full manuscript do not need to submit the extended abstract. Guideline for Preparation of the Extended Abstract 1. All extended abstracts must be written in English. The abstract should have 4 Pages. 2. Each extended abstract should begin with a short abstract (not more than 150 words), typed single spaced, five inches wide, and centered. The short abstract should be on the first page of the text, following the title, author’s names and affiliations, not a separate sheet. 3. The final page dimension should be on the standard A4 paper, leaving 1.25 inch margin on the top, bottom, left and right sides. Use Times New Roman font : All text in 12 pt except the paper title (14pt, bold). Capitals are to be used for title and authors, while bold face is for headings and subheadings. 4. As for the tables, they are to be designed to have a uniform style throughout the proceedings volume with the caption of the table placed on the top. Figures are to be prepared in black and white in high resolution for half-tone illustrations or images. The pictures are to be sharp for reproduction to avoid it being from rejected. Colored images are not acceptable. It is important to note that the illustrations such as figures, tables, chemical equations should be embedded in the text where they are first cited. 5. The proceedings will be distributed to all the registered technical participants. The extended abstract will be printed directly without any further editing. Photocopies are not acceptable. As there will be no proof corrections allowed we advise all authors to check their abstracts thoroughly before submission. Guideline for Preparation of a Full Manuscript to Publish Special Issue of International Journal of Hydrogen Energy All presenters will be invited to publish a Special Issue of the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (IJHE) consisting of the selected, reviewed and revised papers from the proceedings of The 10th Asian Hydrogen Energy Conference. The selected papers will be notified after the conference. All full manuscript will be also published in the proceedings of The 10th Asian Hydrogen Energy Conference. All the full manuscripts should be prepared according to Manuscript Preparation of Guide for Authors in IJHE (http://ees.elsevier.com/he/). Please see the attached file.
